The advisory board comprises of more than 20 years of collective memory about the congresses organized in the past. In that way, we try to add to the continuity and freshness of subsequent congresses, which are organized every year by a novel team of students. Also, we assist in directing the organization to key members of the Faculty and Hospital and occasionally pull a few strings when needed. We have seen ISCOMS evolve from a successful local congress into what it is today: a full grown international conference that spans multiple days. Key to that success is that the organizing students bear full responsibility for all aspects of the congress, ranging from financial matters, public relation and the scientific program, to the logistics and international contacts.
We are just what we are: an advisory committee, albeit with large commitment to the continuous evolution of this smashing event.
