Hi, my name is Omer Elmokashfi Eltahir, a postgraduate student from the University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Khartoum, Sudan. As ISCOMS's University Ambassador to the Sudanese country, it is my intention to promote future congresses and stimulate my fellow students to present their researches in this important international scientific event, where they will be able to fraternize with young people of diverse cultures and nationalities, who share the same passion for science.
If you wish to present your own research, view others and create a network of research fellows as well as friends, ISCOMS is the ideal way. The state-of-the-art key note lecturers and workshops from very prominent scientists are indeed an inspiration. And off course ISCOMS is not all about research and "the next presentation"; social organisation including parties, drinks, tours and village parties among others makes ISCOMS unique and very colourful.
My initial impression about the venue, the University Medical Centre Groningen 
(UMCG),is that it's just the perfect place. The UMCG is a top institution with a well streamlined priority in research which is the heart of science and medicine today. I have never seen such an astonishing piece of architecture; the Dutch really do know how to design hospitals. It's worth coming to Groningen just to see this building and the Groningen museum!

It's worth coming to Groningen just to see this building and the Groningen museum!I am convinced that ISCOMS is worth to be promoted in my country and the neighboring ones as one of the top scientific conferences worldwide and I can rate it as the best student conference I have ever attended in my life, regarding the huge scientific gaining, the punctuality, the social program and the teamwork and spirit of the diffrent organizing committees.
Lastly, ISCOMS is worthwhile attending and I Hope to see you in Groningen, the Netherlands coming June 2008
