SCIENCE UP THE WORLD
15TH INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONGRESS OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
JUNE 3RD - 6TH 2008
University Ambassadors
The ambassadors play a very important role in the organisation of ISCOMS. At the moment there are thirteen ambassadors spread all over the world. These ambassadors represent the ISCOMS at their university or in their country. They are the voice of ISCOMS abroad. What are the tasks of an ambassador? The main task of an ambassador is to help promote the ISCOMS at their faculty. To do this the ambassadors receive a promotional package. As most ambassadors have already been to the congress they can answer questions and inform local students about the congress. An ambassador may use a special event at their faculty to promote the congress to a larger audience. And last but not least, the ambassadors provide a very important link between their university and the organising committee of ISCOMS 2008.
Seeing as the ambassadors have such an
important task we thank them by giving them free congress access. During the congress a special event will be organised for ambassadors only! This is a great opportunity to get to know other ambassadors and also for us to finally get to see the ambassadors in person!
If you are enthusiastic about the ISCOMS and would like to be an ambassador we want to hear from you! We are always looking for new ambassadors who can help us promote ISCOMS at their university! Please send an email to iscoms@med.umcg.nl if you are interested. We will get in contact with you as soon as possible and inform you about the application procedure.
