European Medical Students’ Association (EMSA)
EMSA is a politically neutral, non-governmental, non-profit and independent organization that represents students from individual medical faculties across geographical Europe. It was established in 1991 in Brussels, Belgium and is currently uniting 65 medical faculties in 23 different European countries. European Medical Students’ Association seeks to improve the health and quality of care of the European citizens, by acting as a conduit for increased interaction and sharing of knowledge between European medical students in the areas of medical education, medical ethics, medical science and European Integration. The main objectives of EMSA are to form a network between European medical students in order to facilitate European integration and develop a sense of European identity, to represent and voice the opinions of Medical students of Europe and to promote the highest standards in European medical education, science and ethics.
Leiden International Medical Student Conference (LIMSC)
The LIMSC is a congress for medical, biomedical and related subjects that aims to provide a possiblity for students to present their research in a student friendly environment, to give students an insight in the world of international congresses, to help them plan a career by showing different possibilities and to help create an international network of highly motivated and promising researchers. The next LIMSC will be held 12,13,14 March 2009. We hope to welcome many of you there!

International Medical Students Congress Novi Sad (IMSCNS)The third International Medical Students Congress Novi Sad (IMSCNS), Serbia, will be held from the 17th until the 20th of July 2008. IMSCNS will gather students of biomedical science from all over the world to present their scientific work, exchange their ideas and make new friendships. The IMSCNS 2008 will include oral and poster presentations, lectures by well known researchers and unforgettable social program.

Young European Scientist meeting (YES-meeting)YES – Young European Scientist - Meeting is organized by a group of students from the Medical School of the University of Porto, with the goal of creating a nurturing environment for students from European Universities to present their research work while they learn, from leader researchers from around the world, about the science being conducted in other Universities. This event offers young researchers a chance of sharing their experiences among each other and with senior scientists, enabling the opportunity to create fruitful connections and collaborations for future projects. III YES Meeting will take place in Porto, 26th-28th September. Come and join us!

Zagreb International Medical Summit (ZIMS)
Zagreb International Medical Summit for Medical Students and Young Doctors is organized by EMSA Zagreb and Students Section of Croatian Medical Association. ZIMS started 7 years ago as the first student summit organized for medical students by medical students in Zagreb, Croatia. From a small regional summit we evolved to an international summit with participants from all over the world. ZIMS is one of a few medical students summits that give you the possibility to publish your full text in an indexed medical journal (“Liječnički vjesnik” - indexed in Index Medicus and Excerpta Medica). Abstract book is also published as a supplement of Liječnički vjesnik. ZIMS is the place for gathering students from all over the world. The 8th ZIMS will be held from 6th till 9th of November 2008 in Zagreb, Croatia. Hereby we invite you to participate at 8th ZIMS.

International Federation of Medical Students Associations the Netherlands (IFMSA-NL) is an organization for Dutch medical students, situated at each of the eight medical faculties. Our mission is to offer future physicians a comprehensive introduction to global health issues. Through our programming and opportunities, we develop culturally sensitive students of medicine, intent on influencing the trans-national inequalities that shape the health of our planet. Besides being the Dutch member organization of the worldwide federation called IFMSA, IFMSA-NL also part of the European Medical Students’ Association-network (EMSA).’

Asia-Pacific Medical Student Symposium
The Asia-Pacific Medical Student Symposium (APMSS) is an international symposium for medical students and supported by the National Taiwan University College of Medicine. Our goal in the APMSS is to bring together medical students from different parts of the world to discuss medical issues, exchange cultural differences and most important of all, meet peers and future colleagues from different parts of the world.
