Infrastructure & Logistics Committee

The infrastructure and logistics committee is responsible for:
- Accommodation
- Social programme
- Logistics during the congress
- Post Congress tour

Accommodation
The foreign participants will stay at the places of medical students from Groningen during the congress. These students are voluntary hosts, and they will make sure the stay in Groningen is as comfortable as possible.

Social Programme
The congress contains, next to the scientific part during daytime, an extended social programme. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will all have a night full of amusement. This gives our participants the chance to get to know eachother in a more informal way, to meet different cultures and to broaden their scientific and social horizons.

Logistics during the congress
The Infrastructure and Logistics Committee is responsible for the screenplay during the congress. The months prior to the congress, they arrange all the different locations within the University Medical Centre Groningen, the lunch and the coffee breaks and the UMCG-tour.

Post Congress Tour
On the Saturday of the congress, the organization and 75 of the foreign participants will join our Post Congress Tour to a typical Dutch place. Last year we went to Schiermonnikoog, one of the Dutch islands. It was a big success, and we will try to exceed it this year!
